By the way...
  • Just used the Kitchen-Aid meat grinder attachment The Man gave me for my birthday(!) to grind up some lamb for burgers tonight. Messy. 23NOV09
  • JM is working on his novel; A is practicing piano. School will be finished before lunch today! 23NOV09
  • The Goobs are having a heated discussion about how early humans might have shaved. WTF? 23NOV09
  • Adults who ask children what they will do when they "get out into the real world" should be smacked. Repeatedly. 23NOV09
  • Game night: Stare, Sorry, Scattergories and Settlers of Catan. Ssss. 22NOV09
  • A has turned her room into a hotel w/ gift shop. The sign on her door says, "We have cable!" JM says, "Hey, that's false advertising." 22NOV09
  • Anemone playing "Hark! the Herald Angels Sing." The older JellyMan gets, the more he lives in the universe called "Out." 21NOV09

This barely made it. The wordless Wednesday people would about to close shop early. That looks like a praying mantis, [is it?] I like how they turn their head to watch you. That they watch you is both interesting and creepy. We had one on a window once. It wouldn't stop watching mom. I guess she looked suspicious. lol

That is a great pic! He is pretty ugly. I wouldn't squash him if he came to visit me, but he can stay at your place. Or maybe it is a she? Whichever. It can still stay with you.

Donna, it was probably trying to decide whether she was too big for it to eat for dinner.

Tressa, it actually did stay with me! Anemone has it in her insect collection.

I thought I commented on this. Did you delete my comment?

We had one of these on our porch, until Chocolatechic killed it. I want to get one of the eggs and hatch, but Sir William won't let me. I'm thinking about doing it anyway. :D
