    Blah, blah, blah...

    • This week, between dance and drama, The Goobers are scheduled to be away from home for 5-7 hours each day.  On the one hand, it's a huge inconvenience because we can't do any lessons; on the other hand it's a huge blessing because we can't do any lessons.  And they are both gone for big blocks of time, which means I can sit in my home alone for 3-4 hours at a stretch.  (Oh, yes. We are home from the farm - I'd show you pictures, but, well, you know.)
    • Poladroid is helping me to fill the big hole in my life left by my hard drive.

    • I had to buy a new vacuum cleaner the other day because the old one died on me.  As I was putting it together, Anemone slipped the box on over her head and was waddling around the living room, laughing and trying to run into JellyMan (who was also waddling around the living room, but without the aid of a box.)  Like an idiot, I just sat there and laughed at them instead of saying motherly things like, "Take that box off your head before you kill yourself," or, "No running in the house."  That little episode cost us trips to the emergency room, where Anemone got the large gash on her head glued shut, and to the optometrist, where Anemone will be fitted for new glasses.
    • Sue The Hamster (I love calling her that) has finally quit biting us, so The Goobs are building her a hamster maze.  This is why we brought her home in the first place, so we're all pretty excited.

    • The Man is coming home in about three weeks!  I'm so happy!
    • I used Blurb to make the year 2008 of my blog into a book.  I ordered it yesterday, and I should have it by the end of the month.  I'm cautiously optimistic.
    • JellyMan is in LOVE and it is obnoxious.  So far the youngsters have been limited to seeing each other at community parades and VBS, but that'll change once the school year is in session.  Ugh.  My eyes are bleeding just thinking about it.

Man you have had a lot thrown at you lately:( What a great idea about making your blog into a book. Makes me wish I was more professional about my blog and I might do the same thing. It's like a ready made scrapbook.

You will have to let us know how the blurb things turns out. Jellyman can not be in love. Period. You must tell him that. Not like he will care what I have to say, but you should tell him anyway.

Poor A! and poor you! I hope she is feeling better.

I love alone time, I guess because I get it so rarely. 3-4 hours sounds wonderful.

Wow, lots going on at your house lately. Sorry about the laptop and the hard drive and the vacuum and the gash and the glasses and the love thing. I'd send you hugs but I've heard that you don't like that sort of thing. So I just send you my sympathy.

Jellyman is in love?? Isn't he..like..too young for that????

And I feel for you about the harddrive...the amount of heartache those things cause...wow.

I hope Anemone heals quickly. The poor little thing. Did she trip over you?

Yeah, The Man comes home soon.

I had thought about making my blog into a book too. Your blog is a better read than mine, so your book might actually be read by members of your family. :)

I am looking forward to seeing Sue the Hamster's maze.
